| I am on leave for the whole of this week. It's day 1 and I am loving it. Feels good to be home, having all the time to myself. Simple joys like not waking up to the alarm clock, doing the laundry in the day, cooking a simple breakfast.
I've decided to go on a fruits & vege only diet too! Just because I can afford to. Went to supermarket last night and grabbed a bunch of beans, brocolli, mushrooms, oranges, peaches. Not cheap though.
Meanwhile I'll be studying for my CFA exam. Not confident at all, but I will just learn the materials do my best and see what happens.
The 8 weeks I was counting down the last blog post is now down to 2!
Bought ugg boots so I don't freeze to death in NYC.
Can't wait to see my family and friends back home, ahhh so exciting.

Got a surprise from my girls! With much love, I received some lovely gifts which made me grin from ear to ear.

Work has been getting harder and harder and having to study for CFA makes me real miserable.
Not studying makes me guilty, but studying means I have less time for doing things that make me happy.
Urgh!!
I have been watching gossip girl for the past week. It's evil. So addictive but muahaha beware coz I am going to start burning it and sending it to you!! soon.
Can't wait for year end trip!!!

| I can't believe it's October again - the month of spring, colours, sunshine, and memories of graduation.
It's been a year already!!!
Around this time last year, I went to Canberra and visited Bird and Marcus and the floriade, went cycling around the lake, joined the gym. Family came to attend my graduation and I took a week off and brought them around Sydney.
October is also the GOOD FOOD MONTH!! I'm so glad I was brought up in a family who loveeees to eat! Can't wait to try some good up and coming restaurants.
Anyways, counting down...
- 2 more months to CFA exam (prep not going too well)
- 10 more weeks to NEW YORK!!!

| since I last blogged. Forgot my password so put it off for a couple of weeks trying to remember.
I just got back from a work trip down in Melbourne and it was great.
Was certainly enriching.
Super tired now. But thinking about lots of things.
I think I need a change, some change.
maybe some furniture re-arranged or a different desk.
haha, or maybe moving down to Melbourne to work for a year or two.
I quite like it although the weather there is 10x worse than Sydney's!
When I left Melb, it was like less than 10 deg and i was shivering like mad on the tarmac.
And when I arrived in Sydney an hour and a half later, it was a nice breezy 26 deg!!!

I have been granted the Australian Permanent Residency Visa today!
The application was lodged on the 23rd Aug, so it took them nearly a year.
But all is good now. My Lord is good and faithful.
